Porchlight Reflective Breakaway Cat Collar with Tracker Holder
One second is all it takes.
Most escapes aren't dramatic. They happen in the middle of an ordinary day — and the first question is always the same: where did they go?
Arms full of groceries, you nudge the door open with your hip — and she's past your feet before it closes.
Open Find My and see which yard she's in, instead of calling her name up and down the street.
A torn corner in the window screen you never noticed. By morning, the windowsill is empty.
Her last location is already on the map, so you start with the right block — not the whole neighborhood.
He always comes home for dinner. Tonight it's dark, and the bowl is still full.
Check where he is right from the porch. If he's two houses over, you can breathe — and go bring him home.
You don't want to lock them in. You want to know where they are.
Some cats are made for the backyard. Some just find every open door. Either way, the worry is the same. Clip Porchlight on with the AirTag you already own, and “where is she?” gets an answer in the Find My app — while they keep being a cat.
Set up in two minutes.
No new app, no account, no charger. If you've ever put an AirTag on your keys, you already know how this works.
-
1
Pop your AirTag in
Press your AirTag into the round pocket on the collar. It sits flat against the strap.
-
2
Snap it closed
Close the snap cover. It keeps the AirTag in place through jumps, scratching and zoomies.
-
3
Fit it, two fingers loose
Adjust the strap until two fingers slide underneath — snug enough to stay on, loose enough to be comfortable.
-

Name it in Find My
Give the AirTag your cat's name in Find My, so the map says “Mochi,” not “AirTag.”
That's it. The next time you wonder where they are, the answer is one tap away in Find My — and the AirTag battery lasts about a year.
Built for the way cats actually roam.
Three small details that matter after dark.
Reflective stripCatches car headlights and flashlights, so they're easier to see on the way home.
Breakaway buckleReleases if it snags on a fence or branch. If it ever does, Find My shows where it came off — often the best clue to where they went.
Snug AirTag holderA snap-closed pocket keeps the AirTag in place and off their fur. Splash-resistant for rain and wet grass.
Why not a GPS collar?
AirTag finds its way through nearby Apple devices, so it works best where people are around — yards, streets, apartment buildings. For remote rural areas, a GPS collar is the better tool.
Straight answers before you buy.
AirTag is sold separately.
Porchlight is the collar and holder. You'll need an Apple AirTag and an iPhone with the Find My app.
Splash-resistant, not swim-proof.
Rain, puddles and wet grass are fine. The AirTag itself is rated for water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The buckle is meant to come apart.
That's what keeps a snagged cat safe. If it releases, the last location in Find My shows where.
Made for cats, not dogs.
It fits necks 8.66–12.8 in. Most adult cats fall in that range; check the fit guide below.
Will it fit my cat?
How to measure: wrap a soft tape around your cat's neck, then add about an inch. You should fit two fingers under the collar.
One for each cat. A color for each name.
Seven colors, so you can tell who's who on the porch — and on the map.
Try it for 30 days.
Questions, answered
Is the AirTag included?
No. Porchlight is the collar with a built-in holder. It's sized for Apple AirTag.
Does it work with Android?
AirTag needs an iPhone or iPad with the Find My app, so Porchlight is best for iPhone households.
Is this a GPS tracker?
No. AirTag uses Apple's Find My network — nearby Apple devices help report its location. It works best in neighborhoods and towns.
What happens if the breakaway buckle opens?
The collar comes off so your cat doesn't get caught. The AirTag stays with the collar, and Find My shows where it was last — a useful clue to where your cat went.
My cat hates collars. Will they wear it?
It's 0.4 in wide and light. Let them wear it for short stretches indoors first, with treats. The bell is removable if the sound bothers them.
Is it waterproof?
It's splash-resistant — fine for rain and wet grass. It isn't made for swimming.
How long does shipping take?
We pack and ship within 1–3 business days. Most orders then arrive 7–15 business days after they ship, with tracking.
