Does it need power or batteries?
No. It works by gravity: as your cat drinks and the water level drops, the bottle lets more water down. No pump, no cords, no noise.
Will the bottle leak?
Water only comes down as the bowl empties. Fill the bottle over the sink and set it straight into the holder. If it drips, check that the bottle is seated all the way.
Will food end up in the water?
Food and water sit in two separate wells. An enthusiastic eater can still flick the odd kibble across, so give the water bowl a quick rinse each day.
Is 500 ml enough?
For one cat, it's plenty for a workday. It isn't meant to cover a weekend away — for trips, have someone check in.
Is the food bowl automatic too?
No. Only the water refills itself. Fill the food bowl as you normally would.
Can my dog use it?
Yes, if they're small. The bowls are about 1.6 in (4 cm) deep and the base is 11.2 × 6.7 in, so it suits cats, puppies and small breeds.
How do I clean it?
